The 2022 Baseball season starts tomorrow!! After the lockout this winter, we weren't sure if it was going to happen, but it looks like we're in store for a full 162 game season. Last year I hit 7/10 playoff teams and wiffed on pretty much everything else. I was ready to bury the Cleveland baseball team but Dolan opened up the checkbook today (well in two years really) and paid Jose to the tune of $120 mil. I'm back on the wagon. On to the predictions:
AL East:1. Tampa Bay Rays (96-66)
2. Toronto Blue Jays (93-69)
3. Boston Red Sox (93-69)
4. New York Yankees (79-83)
4. New York Yankees (79-83)
5. Baltimore Orioles (52-112)
The Yankees did nothing to get better. Everyone is picking the Blue Jays to win the division. I'll believe it when I see it, Rays win the division again.
AL Central:
1. Chicago White Sox (97-65)

4. Kansas City Royals (73-89)
5. Detroit Tigers (64-98)
Can I still call them the Tribe? After the White Sox, this is going to be a bad division this season.
AL West:
1. Houston Astros (95-67)
2. Oakland Athletics (90-72)
3. Los Angeles Angels (81-81)
4. Seattle Mariners (69-93)
5. Texas Rangers (64-98)
Cheating Astros win the division again.
NL East:
1. Atlanta Braves (94-68)
4. Seattle Mariners (69-93)

2. St. Louis Cardinals (84-78)
3. Cincinnati Reds (83-79)
4. Chicago Cubs (71-91)

I don't really care about this division. Who ever wins it will be swept in the playoffs. That's the same thing I wrote last year...
