2017 MLB Predictions Sure to be Wrong

Wow, I pretty much nailed it last year.  7/10 playoff teams and this World Series gem:

"World Series: Cleveland Indians 3 Chicago Cubs 3 (World Ends before Game 7)
 Assuming the world doesn't end... the Cleveland Curse continues and the Cubs win first World Series since 1908."


Let's see how this year goes.

AL East:
1. Boston Red Sox (95-67)
2. New York Yankees (88-74)
3. Toronto Blue Jays (81-81)
4. Baltimore Orioles (78-84)
5. Tampa Bay Rays (73-89)

Sox are loaded, division probably won't be that close. 

AL Central:
1. Cleveland Indians (97-65)
2. Detroit Tigers (86-76)
3. Kansas City Royals (83-79)
4. Minnesota Twins (74-88)
5. Chicago White Sox (67-95)

Tribe keeps rolling and wraps it up by middle of September.

AL West:
1. Houston Astros (88-74)
2. Texas Rangers (87-75)
3. Los Angeles Angels (83-79)
4. Seattle Mariners (73-89)
5. Oakland Athletics (73-89)

Crap division, but Astros young talent outlasts the Rangers

NL East:
1. Washington Nationals (91-71)
2. New York Mets (90-72)
3. Miami Marlins (73-89)
4. Philadelphia Phillies (70-92)
5. Atlanta Braves (61-101)

Nats and Nationals battle all year.  Loser has to play the wild card game, winner has to play the Cubs.  No one wins.

3. Pittsburgh Pirates (83-79)
4. Milwaukee Brewers (79-83)
5. Cincinnati Reds (64-98)

Cubs still win 96 games after a victory hangover.

3. Arizona Diamondbacks (78-84)
4. Colorado Rockies (76-86)
5. San Diego Padres (65-97)

Dodgers roll and choke in playoffs.  Never seen that before.

I've never wished I was right more than this year.   So the Tribe will miss the playoffs.
